After an avid apple fan - being with various iphones for 7 years now, i've finally jumped ship.
The 7 was the final nail in the coffin for me. Having lost the aux in facility & the fact it didnt have a physical home button & kept crashing , it was the last straw. Managed to flog it on Schpock last night for a reasonable £420.
I do still love the 'ease of use' of apple stuff, however, Android has come on leaps & bounds over the last few years & my latest Huawei is a testament to that. Its a P9 'lite' which is the cheaper version, naturally. £149 on pay & go (im on contract, just swapped the sim over) and it retails @ £249 currently (Was on special offer with Voda). Running android marshmallow, its very user friendly (not quite as much as apple mind) and for the VAST difference in price, i cant fathom why iphones are so expensive, other than being a fashion accessory!
Anyway, no real point to my post, just thought i'd share to those who are curious to make the move from apple
