From recent experience, all I can say upon seeing him casually 'flick' off the knee pad is YAH, RIGHT....!!!

Oh yes, not saying they're not very useful, just a flood of them without an introduction which would have been nice so we can 'meet' this person first.
Is it profitable to get lots of youtube views??

Only if you've monetised them, but you needs hundreds of thousands to make a living out of it, and if you have any copyrighted music the copyright owner will take the money instead of the video creator - and they don't even have to ask for it, Youtube simply uses it's algorithm to check what music is playing and de-monetises your video.

I got a copyright strike for uploading a track day video that had Lady Marmalade playing on the radio, and for an In Memoriam video I did for my Nan for family to view (with her favourite 'Danny Boy' playing over some photos). Neither were monetised so it was just a warning flag.
