Htc sensation compatibility with the z

I have recently upgraded my phone to a HTC Sensation. After a few attempts I did finally manage to connect the phone to the Bluetooth. However I am having a few problems with its usability. I now don’t seem to be able to view and read my text messages. This is the first Smartphone I used in the car so am wondering if this is a common issue with all Smartphone’s. Has anyone else had problems with using them and manage to find a solution. Help would be much appreciated.

Not really helpful but am also eligible for an upgrade at the mo and am torn between the HTC Sensation and Samsung Galaxy S2...did you have this same dilemma and if so why did you go for the HTC?? Hope you get the Btooth thing sorted soon!!

Hi not much between them as you are probably aware. Went for the HTC as its a bit heavier bit deeper and just felt a bit more robust. Starting to wonder now if the Samsung would of worked in the car though. Doh!

It's real hit and miss what pairs and what functionality you based around which and model and which phone. It's almost a case of having to test pair each potential phone before signing up for one...

iPhone4 and 3G all paired and work perfectly on Z4 and 120d.( Factory B/T )
No problems in pairing from start on either car or iPhones
However it is recommended that if car is not new you clear all old pairings from car and start afresh with your phone

Hi wegras

My first posting on this forum - got my Z4 E85 3.0 3 days ago.

I have had some problems with the Bluetooth connection between Z4 and Google S phone. I have connection, but it is some old owners phone book. So how do I clear the car for old parings?:
However it is recommended that if car is not new you clear all old pairings from car and start afresh with your phone

Thanks in advance

Press bluetooth button and switch ignition to position 1 at the same time to get the bluetooth paring option started. Once this procedure has been activated press the bluetooth button again and hold down for 10 seconds, this should delete all previous parings.

Thanks - I should have found that myself!

After like 15 attempts it finally cleared paired devices - so good so far.

The Google S will connect for some time (10 to 60 seconds) the disconnect and immediately reconnect. And there are no phone book.

The phone connects to other cars and units without problems - so I suspect it is the car. Maybe it is going on and off while it loads the phone book? I have more than 300 contacts.

Any ideas are welcome - thank you for this amazing forum. I will be spending a lot of time in here.
