HPI check says 0 previous owners

Owner is confident there are 4 previous owners. I've emailed HPI provider but I'm picking the car up on Wednesday (subject to inspection) so I doubt I'll get a response before then. With it saying 0 previous owners does that mean the car isn't registered??

Have a look at the V5 registaration doc, but TotalCarCheck is not actually HPI (only HPI is HPI) TCC costs £2.90 HPI is £20 which may explain why the TCC results could be a bit off?

My guess is it's only picking up the owners on the current plate, not the original registration.

As others have commented use HPI, not some cheaper limited information version

Good shout, that must be it! Think I'll invest in a proper HPI check - cheers guys
