As the title suggests, how can I stop a cat sleeping on my roof!! Any ideas??

It's driving me nuts as I'm sure it won't be long before I get a rip in the hood.

This has been debated on here before and the general consensus was, you can't.

I used to have this with my previous car too. Drove me mad.
I'll try and find the other thread link....

Thanks Carol,

The problem is the cats( there is two of them) are white and my roof is black,

And worse still is that they are my cats !!

I've just found a few scratches grrrrrrrrr

I think I'll have a look at the ultra sonic / water method,

I'm not into harming them,( I have the wife looking over my shoulder ) just a bit of re- education me thinks...

I think the best idea would be to dump the cat in the bin and post a video on youtube :D:D:D :poke: by the way ... I'M JUST JOKING

I have the sonic box. Works 95% of the time, but once every other month I still have a cat on the roof of my other convertible.

This is the one I have: http://www.amazon.co.uk/STV-International-STV610-Defenders-Mega-Sonic/dp/B000NR8Q1U/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1339603870&sr=8-2

This has been discussed earlier. Take a look at http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=34016&p=478370#p478370, there are also some suggestions that might help.

My cat Missy does this all the time! I general use the water pistol method, i find it quite therapeutic..... not sure missy does though!
