How to search car spec using VIN

Hi all, looking to beef up my advertising with the cars actual specifications and trying to find a Post with a link into one of the gun check sites. Any one done this before who can advise or point me in the right direction please.

bimmer throws up a different VIN specification, the other one says used up your goes come back tomorrow
