For those of you who haven't yet delved into protecting your soft-top
Take one Autoglym Fabric Roof Clean & Protect Kit
After snowfoaming the car, to loosen the engrained dirt and grime, spray the cleaner onto the roof directly and use the provided sponge to agitate into the fabric
Use a fluffy microfibre drying towel to dry the roof - then once dry, vacuum the roof thoroughly.
Then, apply a good layer of the Protector over the roof, wiping any excess off the bodywork off the car. Then I take a clean MF cloth, apply more protector to that, then wipe it into the roof in a circular motion. Once the whole roof has been covered, spray a light layer over the top. If possible leave for around 2-3hrs in the garage (or under cover) then apply another good layer but this time don't wipe into the roof.
Here is the result on a TT roof I completed last week. The test was done today exactly one week since the detail.
