How to irritate a new owner of CSLs !

My OEM genuine CSLs arrived today. Despite the cold wet weather I couldn't resist the temptation to fit them. Out comes the locking wheelnut key to then find my dealer has given me the wrong key when I bought the car 2 months ago AAAAAAhhhhhhh!!!

So what are the chances of getting the correct key from a BMW dealer on Saturday - or should I just take a hammer and cold chisel to the ba$tard!!

Their service department should keep a stock of them on the shelf, get them to give you/borrow one of those

Failing that a whole new set of bolts with key is £20 but still would need to borrow the right key.

Managed to get the right key for less than £5. Running around cost more in petrol so I've now got the CSLs on and the car looks like it should have done originally when BMW built it!!

Those wheels just look soooooo good.

Having looked at 4 different manufacturers of CSL replica I decided to go original BBS/BMW as the quality is clearly superior and I guess they will be worth more at resale too.

Next weekends project - ESS Supercharger maybe

I was waiting for this one - what do you want - a photo of a wheel key that doesn't fit - trust me, they all look the same. If you want to see a Z4MC with CSLs, use search - there's plenty on here and I don't think I'm going to enhance the site with yet another.

Good choice, reps would just be wrong. I remember seeing Steve D's coupe with CSL's on parked in a field, it started there. IMO the standard wheel just doesn't do the car justice, as you say how it should have come out of the factory.

I've a had a few occasions where a note has been left on the car asking me to phone them if I want to sell it. Not sure that would have happened with the standard rims.
