I have got hold of a used Alpina front spoiler
Has anyone got any tips for fitting it, eg attachment points for screws, what type of glue to use and so on
Much appreciated

Needs 3M automotive grade two-sided tape all around the edges, that's how it comes when new. Only uses two screws around the outer edges (you will see the holes in the spoiler) that will fit were original holes are under at the front of the car. Recommend using windscreen type silicone on most other contact points. The outer edge tape is VERY IMPORTANT or you could get edge gaps. You only get one chance at sitting it correctly, so I recommend you first mark the front bumper with outline tape all around with the spoiler just held in place by two people. You will need to remove your aftermarket lower mesh grill or the spoiler won't sit properly.

And last, don't move the car for 24 hours after installation.

Hope this helps

I see that there are a variety of automotive grade double-sided tape
Has anyone used tape products other than 3M

Not quite an answer to your query but I use 3M HD (Heavy Duty) double sided tape for automotive applications. I have used it to fix the number plates on my 'off road' Jeep JK and they remain in place even on the roughest journeys.
