How to disconnect the CD Changer

So, I've just had the Dension Ice Link Plus arrive through the post, and I've wired it all in (even managed to get that tiny cable through to the glovebox).

My problem is that I'm unsure how to disconnect the CD changer in the boot. I think that's the only reason why I'm failing to get htis working.

Any help, as always, much appreciated!!!!!!

CD changer is not in the boot? It's between the 2 seats of course.
You would normally have to dismantle everything from the front, trim and all and work your way into it. You might however just be able to get to the connector plug via the small access hole in the firewall behind the carpet.

Others who have disconnected may be able to point to a better spot in the loom to break into but I did not know it had to be disconnected to make it work?

Crossed wires I think!!

I am trying to disconnect the CD changer to enable me to use my Ice Link Plus Ipod device!

Sorry Cj, I'l yet and explain better!
I'm trying to install my ice link plus. All the theead's I've read say that the CD changer has to be disconnected! I've disconnected it from the main block and replaced that connection with the ice link but when selecting the changer mode the CD changer kicks in rather than the Ipod

The CD Changer has two connection one for audio and another for power, If you removed the block behind the radio thats just the audio. You now have to disconnect the ibus, power and ground. This can be done behind the radio but it would involve cutting you cars original wiring so you might want to remove it from the back of the CD changer. Your car still picking up the CD changer because it still wired in.
