How to check The rear of my cd changer

Hello, recently bought my z4 and I'm looking to fit the intravee ii.

I understand I need to check which version cd changer I have to see if I need the dice adapter?

From what I gather you don't from the boot but this is where I got stuck, I could only half peel the carpet away because of something with a bit of string attatched for a start.

I had a quick peek just as good as I could and I couldn't see the cd changer?

I have the optional sat nav, Bluetooth bla bla, do any of them get in the way of what I'm looking for?

Even better is there a guide?

Sorry for what is probably a stupid question!

First off, change the title - put Intravee in there and you may get a better response.

To be honest I neither realised the CD changer was an issue or that there even were two types... did BMW make one that works as well as the one that gets stuck after a while?

Someone might now from the year of the car? You may even be able to look it up on RealOEM?

TIS may be of help - think this is what you're after > BMW TIS - 51 47 140 Removing and installing / replacing panel for luggage compartment partition

For the CD changer I think the facelift CD changer plays mp3 whereas the old model cd changer only plays audio cd's

is that the 2 models you are talking about?

if so tell us the year model and we can maybe help

I've done it now thanks. I was struggling as my Bluetooth box was in the way. Just removed the 3 nuts holding the Bluetooth on and it was straight forward.

Thanks :)
