How to avoid water spots on chrome shower?

Its the old problem of hard water areas Andy, move to Scotland and the problems solved mate 
Seriously, when I lived the otherside of the Humber we had the same problem, I used a spray similar to what smartbear has said, not sure what was in it though as it was years ago, but I remember that it helped

Use the bathroom - problem solved!
I always use the daily shower cleaner. Spray it on after use and the next user perpetuates the cleaning process - repeat ad infinitum. Bottle of the stuff costs a £1 and lasts a from a week to a couple. Available from all good stores, terms and conditions apply.

Hard water area by the sounds of it. Would recommend a in line water descaler. Basically a special pipe that gets installed to your inlet water pipe. I'm investigating myself at the moment. They can cost anything from £80 to £800 for industrial grade stuff!! Basically takes away the scal from your water using magnets or something!!! Have a look on screw fix or any plumbing website.

He was the cheapest and best customer service by far on a twintec s3 system I had off him. I installed myself as the house we just bought had the exact same one fitted, but the seller wanted too much for it. So I said take yours and I will buy a brand new one
