Just bought a torque wrench. Anyone know what I set it to for 296 wheel nuts? Can't find decent info anywhere.
I use 120 Nm torque for my wheel bolts, although I believe that some owners use 100 Nm.Punter said:Just bought a torque wrench. Anyone know what I set it to for 296 wheel nuts? Can't find decent info anywhere.
He asked about an E89 which are M12, hence my posting of 120NmScooba_Steve said:Depends on the bolt:
M12 = 120 +/-10 Nm (E85/6)
M14 = 140 +/-10 Nm
But I don't have TIS that covers E89.
Brilliant, thanks.DLH said:He asked about an E89 which are M12, hence my posting of 120NmScooba_Steve said:Depends on the bolt:
