How on earth do i get this stud out?

Hi

Doing the rear shock change and want to known how do i get this connector out?

Dont fancy breaking it.

A small pair of snips under the centre part will grip enough to lift it. Pull that out and then you may need a thin screwdriver under the wider part to pop that out.
Sometimes if you put the two bolt fasteners back in it is hard to align the holes to get that rivet back in, so I'd suggest fitting that first.
 
Guys, I feel stupid now. The rest of the job on top was dead easy, though. I was surprised how loose the top two nuts on the shock mount were.
 
I clicked on this thinking it was going to be able exhaust downpipe studs!
You wait until you try those. This is a breeze in comparison.
I removed all my boot fastenings to do rear struts and just poke around, now I forget what goes where!
