How often do you red line?

With the DCT its not do-able.. the 'box shifts up if you're at redline for more than perhaps a second... I only ever did it once with my e85, the rev limiter noise made me cringe and I never did it again!
 
I do now and again. It is driven like a glass carraige by the wife all week. On an early Saturday or Sunday morning I will take it out let the engine oil temp get up then occasionally givei t beans coming ou of corners or off roundabouts in second just to hear that glorious noise. (roof down being mandatory of course) :driving:
It's there to be driven then taken home and cleaned :thumbsup:
 
Today was the first time. A truely sh**e day in work was topped off by pulling up by the side of a pair of chavs at a set of lights reving their engine and laughing at the fact that they could "do me" off said lights.

Changed to green i gave them a couple of yards head start and bam . . . . Instant gratification. Sans SG foam what a noise! !!!!
