How often do you clean out your roof drain holes

As title how often do you need to clean the roof drain holes, I have had my roof motor relocated to the boot but regularly need to clean the drain holes out probably 3-4 times a year hate the sound of water sloshing around. It is normally the nearside that gets blocked

The bungs are still fitted and its not parked under trees but is kept outside all the time

When I owned my e85 they got checked approx once a month as I was paranoid about the roof motor drowning (as per Marlons tsunami nightmares :o )
When I had the motor relocated to the boot it was swimming in its own little pool within its jacket though!
I assume the damage was done under the ownership of a previous, less paranoid owner :(

Roof motor is now in it's correct location (boot) so no worries there. I removed the bungs and as my car lives under a cover, I don't bother checking now.

My car lives outside all year round as its my daily. I have only done the drains twice in two years and they were clear, probably due to the hardtop being on over winter.
I have also moved the motor to the boot myself to remove the worry of it swimming.

I haven't noticed any extra noise with the bngs removed to be honest.

Does removing the bung increase road noise ?
Some say it does, but I didn't notice any difference
Thanks for the quick reply I think I notice the water splashing noise more now the motor has been relocated
