How much should an oil change for an N54 cost, please?

Depends where you take it, if it is just the oil and filter change bring it here and it will cost you around 100 euros all in but the trip might cost you hundred times that :rofl:
Yeah it's a 'how long is a piece of string question' as it depends who does it, what they charge per hour and how much they mark up the oil and filter.
£300 or £100 and everywhere in between.
My local back street garage would do it for around £100 plus VAT. £50 labour and same for the consumables. Maybe a few quid more as the N54 will hold a litre or so more oil than any of mine.

Any higher than £200 from a reputable garage id be wanting a breakdown of costs to know how the total was arrived at.
My own Bmw indy cost would be under £150 total & for that i know the main guy does the job not a trainee .
Breaking it down the task should be no more than :
1 hr labour £75 - £100 ?
6,5 litres oil £65 - £80 ?
1 oil filter £10 - £15 ?
total £150 - £180 + vat = £180.00 - £220.00 ?
