How much oil to top up a 35is?

How much oil to top up a 35is that's showing one segment down on the Vehicle Status Engine Oil display, please?

250ml?

OK, found out myself. Just above what looks like half - 2 segments, I think - is 250ml - a conservative figure to avoid over-filling.

(I asked because - like most people, I suspect - I didn't want to wait until the 'Add one litre' warning.)

it's usually 1ltr from min to max..

so if it has 10 segments then 2 segments would be 200mil.

The difficulty, however, is that the segments aren't marked.

it's a very dumb system I'd say.. waiting till you get the warning is just silly in my opinion. I don't mind tech and digital stuff but if it doesn't tell me what a simple dipstick does then it gets on my nerves.

Respectfully, i disagree. To many people, not necessarily enthusiasts like us, to be able to press a button whilst driving to tell us the oil level is a great idea. Much better than getting home in the cold and in the dark and fiddling under a bonnet - folks are hardly likely to do that.

I reckon less than half a litre in 10k miles.
