How much is too much?

Does the roof motor have a life limit? This is my first spring with the Z4 and I'm opening and closing the roof all the time. How much is too much? How often can I use it before it burns out? I see other people with their tops closed when its 78 degrees and I think, If they didn’t by that car for today, then why did they buy it?
 
If I recall, there was some documentation saying BMW tested the motor by opening and closing the top thousands of times. Should be fine.
