How much brake fluid do our M's take?

Hi guys, i checked through our manual but couldnt find an answer on this, i also searched the forums but again no clear answer.

How many litres of brake fluid does the Z4 M need? What's our brake fluid capacity?

i just did a complete flush on mine.... i flushed through a litre.....then added another half to top the tank to the max mark, im guessing it around 1 litre as i WAY over did it on the flush to get all the old crap out ;-)

I'm gonna buy 1.5lt just to be on the safe side, a guy i know who owns a car parts shop here is the Cypriot supplier of the Endless line of brake components, i'm gonna give the Endless RF650 brake fluid a try. The specs are comparable to the Motul RBF 660.

Will be having the new fluid flushed and Goodridge stainless steel brake lines installed tomorrow morning. Just in time for an autocross event that i want to attend on Saturday!

Make sure the Goodridge hoses have spacers or the plastic sleeve over them to avoid rubbing on bodywork and fraying. And then bursting

Happened to me a couple of years ago. All new hoses should have this protection now I think, but worth double checking

If you mean a plastic sleeve over the whole of the line then they do.
