How many wheels can you carry inside a zed?

Looking to pick-up 4 18" wheels (no tyres) and could take the 5 series touring - but where's the fun in that - has anyone got a full set in a Coupe?

LOL, I would doubt it, but I don't have a coupe so I can't say... got 2 sets in a Honda Jazz the other day though :D

Not even using the passenger seat?

p.s. Sure it's been discussed before, but can't find it on search (I've tried honestly!)

Go on then - since everyone else has been too polite to ask - what wheels have you bought then? :D

(BTW, just take the 5-series)

I could only get one 16" rim in the boot of the ///M with another on the floor in front of the passenger seat.

lol

seriously though put the seatbelt on.... if you have to brake or hit anything thats an awful lot of weight flying around

I should think you could only get 2 in the boot, maybe 1 in the footwell and if your brave one on the passenger seat. (wrapped in a duvet and with the seat belt on)

But if take the 5 series otherwise you could end up with having to do an extra trip

Yep, two in the trunk, one on the passenger seat, one in the passenger footwell.

I was wondering this same question when looking to pick up some wheels.

The answer is 3, but if you were to ask 'how many wheels can you carry with a zed' the answer would be 4 :D

For both a set of 17" 225's or 18" 225/255's

1 in the boot
2 on the passenger seat facing forward
1 on the boot. I used 2 ratchet style straps to hold it on.

Roadsters are practical 8)

I only managed to get one tyre in the zed. Don't think more than one wheel would go in a roadster...

I managed two tyres with no wheels (255/40/18) in mine - one in the boot, one on the passenger seat. I think I could have got two in the boot at a squeeze, certainly with the non-M where the battery is elsewhere I think that would have been possible. More than one on the passenger seat would have been a bit dangerous I think.

I've managed to get a full set of 18" tyres in the MC when I went to get the winter tyres fitted to the original M wheels.

2 in the boot, 1 in the footwell, and 1 on the seat with a duvet as padding.
