How long to warm up?

Hi all,roughly how long does it take for your temp needle to get halfway?-mine seems to take longer than my e46(there i go comparing again!) :roll: -thanks
 
Mine seems to be pretty quick, I was surprised when I first got it as it was much quicker than my old car, say 10-15 mins? Haven't really timed it before. How long does yours take?
 
Needle is midway in about a mile. Always has been , slightly longer in v cold weather but not much.
 
about 5 mins ish, not usually quicker that I've noticed. always keep revs low during that period, an old habit.

Same for me. However my old car had oil temperature aswell and that obviously took a lot longer to get up to temperature so I tend to wait probably 10 minutes going steady to warm it up nicely.

Same for the water temp which is surprisingly fast, but I'm guessing it will be twice that for the oil and all components to be fully warmed up?
