How long have you owned your Zed?

I'm just curious as few people on the forum seem to selling up after a very short ownership period.

I have had mine for nearly 5 1/2 years now and have no intention of selling it anytime soon. It's still turns a few heads and still manages to bring a smile to my face whenever I see it after being away.
 
only 2 1/2 months now, but loved every single minute of it! I was on holiday for two weeks and the only thing i missed was my car... that's not what i told the girlfriend though. :D
 
2.5 years here also. I will keep the toy for many years, maybe I will leave it to one of my grandkids. :)
 
2 1/2 years from new, when I can afford that GT2 I'll be parting me thinks................
 
6 months. its a great car even with its faults, anything else for the money i paid is a step down. next car could be a 6 series coupe as it has that look similar to the z4 which has grown on me a lot. in fact ive become a bmw convert, just bought an e30 320 and my father has a e36 323, we have always had german (ish cars in our family) vw's, seat's and now bmw's. the 323 was almost traded for a new seat leon on scrappage but we couldnt part with it, even a new car worth £15k didnt stand up to it in spec or drive!
 
about 4 months now and i still smile when i get in it! no intention of selling, and im just starting to tinker with a few bits now
 
I've had mine for about 290 days, or 40 weeks, or 7000 hours, or 400,000 minutes, or 25,000,000 seconds. Only works out at 45 miles per day though - but I wasn't driving to work until a month ago ;)

I was one of those thinking I'd have to sell within months of buying it as work dried up for 6 months and my 'contingency' fund was depleted.
 
Have you had yours that long mmm-five? I remember when you got it (on PH).

I can't believe there's a couple of people who have had their cars for 5 years! That is astonishing! I even sold a brand new car after 6 months!

My Z is up for sale at the moment, because we'd like to move to a bigger house, and I can't do that with money tied up in the Z. If it doesn't sell though, I certainly won't be upset, because I absolutely love the car, and if it doesn't sell now, I will probably never sell it.
 
9 months and counting. Unless my circumstances change I'm planning on this being a 5-year+ keeper...

Yup, and the only thing that tempts me now & then is an M3 CSL, which I couldn't afford then and can't afford now ;)
 
I had my first Z for just under 2 years, and my M coupe for 2y 3m.

Relatively long times for me in cars that.
 
10 months and loved every minute of it! would probably only sell it to get a 3.0 or a coupe i think!
 
I've had mine for 58 days now :) The only thing that would tempt me to part would be a change in circumstances... losing my job or winning the lottery...

mind you, I think if i won the lottery I would buy a coupe to match my roadster!
