How hard would it be to.........

...........fit the required running gear components from a ///MZ4 into a normal 3.0Si Sport so that it could run on genuine M3 alloys?
I really love the look of the original E46 M3 alloys in the 19" variety, and think they would look the business on my PY Z4 Coupe.
I know most people will say that the ///M versions are loosing so much money now that it would be easier to upgrade to an ///M, but i was just wondering what would need to be done. That would be assuming i could find all the parts from a breakers yard where they have a recently smashed donor car.

Would it be best done using parts from a M Coupe, or would parts from an E46 M Coupe work just as well?

Has it been done already????

Regards

It has been done I am sure, replacing the diff from an E46 M3 etc, but I would just trade the car and buy a ///M, has to be cheaper and easier, plus the benefit of that engine

Absolutely. Not to mention the engine in the 3.0Si is much lighter, then you put the heavier rear end, spring, etc and you've thrown the weight balance off.
