My Kawasaki ZX-9 C2 hit 175mph down RAF Valley Runway. At 150mph I hit a raised section where the two runways intersect, front wheel came up off the ground and gave a little shake which scared the living daylights outta me. But I still did half a dozen more runs and eventually hit 175 mph.
Eventually sold it and bought an unfaired bike which is uncomfortable above 100mph - too scary having a machine that feels slow when you are doing anything under 130mph.
Never managed to get the Zed above 130 - always ran out of room or bottle.
