How easy is it to remove the roof

Hi,
My 2003 Z4 roof motor has stopped working.

I was considering replacing the motor myself but am unsure how difficult/ time consuming the job will be.

Have many caried out the job themselves, i'd be grateful for any feedback.

Hi took me two days, one day to take it off and replace the motor then the second day to refit the hood and new motor , this was done by following shipkillers step by step posting ,and i worked at a slow pace as i wanted to get things right its not hard just time consuming .

not hard, just follow the guide, there are a few bits I would change to shipkillers guide which I might make another guide for if I have a spare few hours.

the hardest thing is doing it the first time. as I've said before I've done it a fair few times now and reckon I could do it in 20 mins
