How do you remove a Brake caliper piston - URGENT

Im rebuilding some calipers, but struggling to remove the piston.
Any tips guys?

Tapped it on with a big old driver and a hammer

For the record for anyone stumbling upon this in a search, you do need a hammer if the piston is frozen in place. If it's free and you just can't get a good grasp on it to pull it out, the recommended technique is to blow compressed air into the port where the brake line connects. Be sure to pad the opposite side with a rag because the piston can pop out quite quickly with this method. Also watch where your fingers are.
