How do you all clean your Chamois

I use a Chamois to dry my car and after several weeks of useage, (my car get washed three or four times a week) it get those little dark spots/smudges that I assume are dirt.

Do you just throw it into the washer or try the hand wash method? :hairdryer:

I stopped using one in favour of a waffle weave MF towel(s).
I didn't like how they aged either.

I go through 7 or 8 microfibre towels whenever I wash my car. Even though I've heard you're not supposed to, I just put them all in the washer afterwards using a little bit of clothing detergent. I also throw my wash mitts in there with them.

I clean everything by hand every time i clean my cars. I guess i dont need to but better safe than sorry.

Cheers

I only wash my Chamois by hand with car soap and leave a little in it until I rinse it out next time I use it.
I read to do that years ago and My chamois last about three years.

All the other towels go in the machine together with a little clothes detergent and extra rinse.

I use MF wash mittens for wash and MF waffle weave for drying... and it wash these along with my MF buffing towels in the washing machine using Micro-Restore MF detergent...

I wash mine with Woolite, but they're never that dirty, as they're only wiped over a clean car. If they ever did, I'd throw it away and replace it.
