I saw this girl earlier this year and though 'Pfft' another fanatic... about as credible as any doomsayer spitting hatred. 
But what really ticked me off was time magazine naming her 'Person of the year' :x Really? That's the best, the most significant person, mankind had to offer this year!? I'd say we had a particularly bad year.

Who have to walk to school an hour each way through rain, wind and snow
Who ride their bikes and actually get through sets of tyres due to so much use
Who get home from school and then disappear out to meet their friends and play games
Who would have to walk or if lucky catch a bus the 3 miles to town
Yep those poor youngsters...
And shame on us old farts who have raped the planet :rofl:

Her tweet about sitting on crowded trains was busted when the train company replied saying it would've been nice if she'd tweeted about the good service from the staff in her 1st class seat!!!!
You forgot the worn out leather on our shoes and the fact we had to put cardboard in them to keep our feet dry for 5 minutes, then the sole would come away at the front and when kicking a tennis ball at break the shoe would fly off and hit your best pal in the face!firebobby said:

I dare say the snow flakes of this day and age would have called it a "Dickensian" upbringing, but it was only the 60/70's.
You don't hear us ranting on about how the youth of the day are raping the planet to keep them in I phones, computers, the latest fashions and fast food driven round to the house because their to lazy to go fetch it.
Come to think of it, what fast food places existed in say the 70's. In my local town, I remember fish and chip shops, one Chinese restaurant, a great pizza takeaway and the local off licence at the side door of the pub.
