Hotel Recommendation Oxford

Afternoon all,

I need a recommendation for somewhere to stay in Oxford. Preferably within walking distance of the centre.

I don't really want to spunk a load of money on it as it is just for one night after a night out. But I do want somewhere half decent. To give you some idea, Malmaison is out as it's above budget, would probably push to about £100 for the night.

God I wish I was in Thailand still, for £100 you can get a 4* hotel!
 
Oxford hotels are ridiculously expensive, so there's very little choice under £100, even a premier inn or holiday inn is likely to be more. We're getting married in oxford in August, so we've done lots of hotel searching for guests.

Unfortunately the choice is quite limited, however maybe have a look at Oxford Spires Four Pillars, Galaxie B&B or The Burlington House boutique hotel.

Sorry I don't have many suggestions, bit I hope that helps a little,

Andrew is right there is not a lot of choice in Oxford. Especial for under £100 witch is ridiculous!!

The above suggestions are about it! I work for the university and the uni club has rooms. It's close to the centre of town. I can ask if I can book for friends??
 
That's very kind Mm.

It looks like some others have now organised a Minibus to take a group of us back so no need to stay over.
