Hot! Hot! Hot! in Germany

I am going for a walk in the lake district end of next week. Guess it won't be the hottest place I have been to

I'll put me heating on and open the door.

Just got back from 2 weeks in the US on the east coast.

Strange mix of weather, clear sunny days @ 34c 90% humidity, wet days, cold days, massive thunderstorms, tornado warnings, hail... everything but snow lol.

When we left Boston last night it was like a good summers day in the UK, except their forecast is to gradually warm up through the 80's into the 90's over the next week. Returned to poor visibility and grey cloud at LHR this morning :headbang:

Mind you I guess if you get back from holiday and it's better here you'd feel worse.

Here's a question - where's the hottest place you've been?

Another for Dubai - pretty unpleasant in the summer months. A close second is Luxor - they have thermometers there that stop at 45 degrees, as any hotter and the hotel staff have to go home. There were days that were definitely hotter than 45 degrees though :)

India - walking around the Taj Mahal in middle of day, light and heat reflecting off white marble. Wrong time of day to visit.

Mum says it's 30 degrees up in North Germany and very humid. They had massive thunderstorms all night, and she has been worried about me driving the zed in casse of thunderstorms ! See, I am not the only one....
