Hot days door wont open

:-? If i park my car with the drivers side in direct sun light on very hot days
I cant open the door????????
I have noticed this a few times now, in the 7 weeks iv owned the car.
Its definitely heat related
I have to resort to either using the other door or lowering the window with the remote and using the inside door handle

Any ideas??

Most likely the bowden cable (between the door handle and lock) is likley stretched and needs replacing. The heat probably just expands it and makes the problem worse.
