Homelink Retrofit

Hello,

Was there somebody who did a homelink retrofit on a E89?
Is it as straightforward as buying the mirror with the homelink buttons and installing it or does it require some extra modules?
Any tips from somebody who did it on another model, i've checked the internet and couldn't find anything?
