Earlier last week I asked about Cincy not being a destination city as was made to feel real welcome by some Z3 drivers etc. I learned my lesson about asking anything on that forum (ever again).

I remember reading your very simple question and getting flamed for it. Bimmerfest definitely has some seriously troubled individuals.

I'm wondering just how next year's Z get together is really gonna fly. If there's nothing to do but sit around and bemoan the loss of Homecoming or bragging about how many years they DID go to homecoming, it might just be worth running the dragon a few times instead.

There is an underlying amount of passive aggression with some of those boyz. It always seems like an "us and them" situation: Z3 vs Z4's.

Yeah, when I first got the car I popped on that forum a couple times, then realized I didn't like the way the z3/z4 crowd mixed on it. That and it was a pain looking at various threads only to realize it had nothing to do with the z4.

Oh, Bimmerfest and several other forums are very strict about sticking to the OP's topic,,,or else! That is probably the main reason why this forum has become one of the fastest growing of all. There is a section here for everyone to enjoy, whether looking for info or just wanting to BS

Bimmerfest has a few outstanding members who contribute volumes of help, generate loads of enthusiasm and goodwill. Zpost on the other hand is useless.
