Got me thinking about stainless dust caps now, I see it's an oddball thread, is there a tap available or did you screwcut it?
I guess I only need a couple of threads and can undercut the rest inside the cap body.
Should be a tap available, you just need to identify it. We have the tooling to screw it but I just used the stainless caps that came with the Schraeder valves we buy in at work. Pm me your address and ill send you a few...diamond or straight knurl sir ? 8)

Sorry to all if my suggestion of friction polishing raised eyebrows. My assumption that should forum members have access to machine tools, they would also have a degree of common sense regarding their safe operation. The rag is small, 4" square, folded into a pad so no flappy bits to get stuck on the chuck, then dipped in polish. Suprised nobody mentioned safety glasses though..
