Holiday in Sagres Portugal

Will be meeting our friends from Harrogate in Sagres over the American thanksgiving holiday Nov 21-25. The wife and I can only fly Ryanair into Porto then a 5-6 hour drive south with a Hertz hire car. Anybody been there? Any tips or things to look out for?

By all means I will. Mostly relaxing. But will take along a couple of stunt kites to fly on the beach and take lots of photos.
