Just looking for any holiday tips from anybody who has had a good one recently. Usually go to caribbean, mexico, italy (venice or lakes) or croatia and looking for a change.

Probably looking to spend about £1,500 each so can't be too exotic ! And given only a week or so probably want to fly only 10 hours or less.

Cheers.

Cuba - you could do a multi centre few days in Havana and few days at the beach for that price. Havana is one of the coolest cities i've ever been to & the beaches are gorgeous...

Nice idea but flights look like about £1,100 each on their own.

What do you mean by multi centre...half time city based and half time beach ?

Thanks

Dubai, we loved it. Although probably not a good idea in the middle of summer as it regularly breaks 45 degrees and sometimes 50 :o

Yes multicentre is some city some beach - we did 3 days in havana and 7 at the beach. You can def do this for under £1500 if you look hard enough :)

Try Ischia in the bay of Naples. It is a less touristy version of Capri. Easy jet or BA to Naples then 40 minute ferry to Italian island. Good selection of 5 star hotels perfect for couples.

V few English there. August busy with Italians.

Harlesden, near the North Circular, 32 C today, and hang around long enough and someone will take your £1500.... 8)

A cruise! I'm going on P&O Ventura in September, sailing to...

Cartagena, Spain
Barcelona, Spain
Monte Carlo, Monaco
Florence/Pisa (Livorno), Italy
Ajaccio, Corsica
Gibraltar
La Coruna, Spain

Hopefully going to do the Caribbean in February.

X 2 loved Cuba. Can't wait to go back.

It's on the Costa Smeralda ( or millionaire's playground as it is also known ). Good choice ! You'll love the beaches. Hire a car and explore the island a bit if you fancy some history and mountain views. You can also go on a day trip to Corsica.
