Drove one in the 80's was totally unimpressed then. I remembered it cornered like an elephant on roller skates. :lol:

No doubt there will be enthusiasts that will appreciate it though

I've driven a couple many years ago ..... the fun was anticipating traffic vis a vis overtaking pushbikes, buses ( yes really) etc lol .
I just fancy something old school as a daily
 
They were known for their reliability as they were designed to be work horses. Quite basic by todays standards but on a positive note there is less to go wrong and should be easier to repair and maintain. :)

I used to work in a dealership that sold these new ......more trouble than a Lotus of the time , and everyone had to be resprayed as soon as it came off the transporter.

Having said that ...... it doesnt matter now , lots of cars that I wouldnt have wanted to own back then look desirable now
 
My first car, what a great car. Simple mechanically and cheap to run, if I ever by my French holiday home, then this is what I would have as my car there. :thumbsup:
 
Now that looks lovely, not seen one of those for a few years. Its not a bad price and the bodywork doesn't look in bad condition either. Had to smile when I looked at the vehicles safety/specification as it boasts safety belts pretensioners, which was high tech at the time if I remember rightly.
