Hit speed bump and something fell off! What is it?

Went over a speed bump yesterday at low speed but still grounded. It's a flap or cover for something. Had to stop on dual carriageway 5mins later as it was grinding... It then fell off and I retrieved it luckily.

What is it?
And what is my next best course of action? Car does seem fine though.

that is the flap that covers the oil drain bolt on the sump  just screws back on, im guessing you might need a new screw

That appears to be the oil drain plug cover/hatch. Used to access the drain plug when changing the oil. There should be a plastic screw where your thumb and forefinger are, which holds it into the rest of the undercarriage tray. 60 second fit (if you can jack the car to get under it). Must have been one heck of a pot hole to dislodge it but at least you didn't lose it.

Leave it off.
I havent had one on since i bought my zed without it 3 years ago.
Handy for when oil starts leaking as you will see it on the ground rather than it collecting in the sump guard aided by that flap.

It is indeed the access cover for the oil drain plug  e879345dd85debd00ae47c51aae8f036-500x500-crop.jpg
It fastens into a spire clip with a special half-turn spring-loaded screw.20190608_102452.jpg
A new OEM cover with screw is only £9.38 on Ebay  https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F253624248504
