A few people asked how to accomplish the first couple photos. I used a Gripper 3025-RA from Film Tools:

http://www.filmtools.com/filmtools-gripper-3025-3-8-right-angle-3025-ra.html

The camera is a Canon 1d MkIII and I had the Canon 15mm Fisheye on for those. The exposures were about 1/4 of a second, and I was only travelling about 7 or 8km/h. I didn't tether my camera, and even when I just look at those shots now I start to sweat again. The suction cup is capable of holding 70 or 80lbs, but the tripod head that is attached is the weak link. It's only rated to 6lbs.

The long nose shot was accomplished using the Canon TSE 24mm.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I kinda feel as though I submitted the wrong photo for the competition...
:)

Welcome to the forum - the shots are fantastic.

Change the competition entry if you wish. Not an issue as voting takes places once it's closed later in the month.

Awesome pics - everything else aside great composition! I never can quite get that part right... or anything else. Please offer a little lifeline and tell me there was a lot on the cutting room floor and you didn't just take eight photos!

Welcome to the forum by the way... off to a very good start

I certainly took more then 8 photos, but I am a photographer by trade. I freelance for the local newspaper for 100% of my income. I also shoot many of the auto features specifically.
