High spec, modified E89 35i/s DCT

Suspect this is going to be a slow burn due to the specificity, so I'm just going to stick up a standing post.

I'm looking for a Z4 35i/s DCT that has been modified with quality parts, ideally to somewhere around Stage 2/2+ with supporting chassis and reliability bits.

I'd like a base car which has:
- Under 70k miles
- Plenty of history and receipts
- Strong MOT history
- Signs of major jobs done
- Satnav
- LCI wheel and paddles
- Not an insurance graded car
- Ideally not white

I'm based in Norfolk and London, and happy to travel to you within reason.

I suspect that most modded cars will be higher mileages…some folks tend to do that as parts wear out..

Hope springs eternal. I'm in no major rush, but it would be ideal if I could get it sorted before I'm at the Ring in May.

For the avoidance of doubt, right now I'M NOT LOOKING FOR A STANDARD CAR. :rofl:

You're looking for a bit of a unicorn there, why not do the upgrades yourself?

I know Birds BMW in Iver are always open to offers for their heavily modified Z4 35i.

It's still owned by Birds themselves I think, but advertised by a local garage, so you could contact Birds directly if interested. The advert is from a year or two ago, so the price is from when these were worth a lot more than they are now and they may well take less for it.

Doesn't have all the engine upgrades that you'd like, but they're much cheaper to add than the chassis parts.

Honestly? I've done two big track car 'projects' in a row, where I've spent more than the purchase price on upgrades.

I'm just trying to see if I can avoid the hat-trick. The likelihood is probably not, judging by the number of modified 35s I see.

Truthfully, I think I may well end up in a slightly better standard car (987S/981S or M4 convertible), if I can't find the right modified 35i.
