Headphones are quite personal and as others have said, make sure they are comfortable. My Grado SR325's are great but not the most comfy after an hour or two. They are not what you are looking for either, but my point is, make sure they are comfy!!
Another thumbs up for the Bose, QC 15 and 25's are both very good. I've just changed from the 15's to B&O H8's and although they were a good bit more money they are not that much different to the Bose.
Incidentally I will probably put my immaculate QC 15's on eBay soon @ c£120, if you're happy with a pre-loved pair just let me know!

Thanks guys, called in at a local Bose stockist but didn't have the any QC25s in but could order me a pair to try out, but then felt a little committed to buy lol. I didn't think of popping into PC World just round the corner as they stock them.
