Hi,
Had a good day today. Fitted some HID's and clear lenses with the help (he did all the work), from Mintstuff (Glynn).
Randomly asked if anyone knew anything about how to do it, and he offered to pop over. Happy Days
Took about 4 hours
- Test Lights -5/6 Mins to Energise (we think this extends the life of the lights) - Good
- Jacked Car Up, Wheels Off (liberally kicked front right off the car, as it was stubborn), Unit Out, Change, Unit In (also changed side lights to white/blue).
- Turn Lights on, Lights go Parp and Flicker, Car Won't Start... Ponder, hoped we hadn't shorted anything, cry!
- Hadn't Driven for 4 weeks and after testing phase, it had drained battery, phew!
- Mmm, wicked excuse to use the new CTEK XS 3600 Battery Charger
- Start Car, Lights on, Change Light Pattern...Job Done - Drive and Amazed!
Wanted to say thanks to Glynn for his help. It took longer than expected but we got there in the end.
