HIDS and now main beam and fog lights...

Having fitted my HIDs a few months ago (and passing its MOT with flying colours at BMW Milton Keynes earlier this week) I want to sort out the rest of my lights.

At the moment the dipped beam is lovely and white (4300k HIDs) but my main beam and fog lights are yellow. Has anyone fitted LED (or white) versions of these, if so which did you get and where from? I've looked on the forum but can't seem to find any info on this :-(.
 
If you are referring to the main beams, I thought they needed to be HID's with separate ballasts again. If this is not the case, I will be very interested to learn of your progress. Think Jonny Essex recently fitted LED's to his fogs. but I may be wrong. Cheers.
 
Not sure if these are the exact ones but I got some high K bulbs for my fogs. They give a nice bluish light to match the Xenons and are cheap as chips. :thumbsup:

Yeah, it's the main beam I wanted to get sorted now. When I fitted the HID dipped lights I also fitted LED sidelights so everything from the main headlight unit is clear white... apart from the yellow main beam!

Fog lights need changing too but reading around the CREE ones look the best bet for that.

Any other suggestions for main beam bulbs? I see people rate the nightbreaker / Phillips bulbs but the night pics I've seen still make them look quite yellow. Is this really the case?

Can't remember the name of the seller but bought on eBay for about £60 - make sure they're canbus ones and I went for 4300k - they're closest to OEM colour. The ballast side is important too - you want ultra slim - so they fit inside the unit ok.
