Hi Guys,
Just wanted to introduce myself as a soon to be Z4 owner! Looking through the forums it seems to be a really good community going on and im looking forward to getting stuck in.

Anyway this is my little beauty that I can't wait to pick up!

Unfortunately I was supposed to be collecting it tomorrow but it's currently in the BMW repair shop!? Bad start I know! The dealer told me that the engineer wanted it back after it's full service as he wasn’t happy with one of the tappets, they replaced it yesterday but still aren’t happy with it and are now inspecting the cam shaft! Fortunately i've got a 12 month warranty! Don't think it’s anything too major it certainly test drove like a dream.

Hopefully I'll be able to pick her up on Wednesday!
 
is it just me or does that seem to be riding quite low for the standard M-sport suspension?
 
Hmm it does seem low now that you mention it. Maybe, because the interior ali has been swapped for the piano black hasn't it, which isn't an easy thing to do, so maybe it has been tinkered with a bit.

Yeah I've thought it was a bit low... the dealer claims it has the AC Schnitzer brake and suspension upgrade... not sure if he is pulling my chain though as he only mentioned it when I was trying to get his price down!

I've asked for some paper work to clarify, waiting to see what he comes up with!

I've only driven one other Z4 (An 07 Si) so havent really got grounds for comparison! But it did seem hard even for a Z4!

Are you saying the interior is not a standard bmw option?
 
It's an option now, but not back in 2005, and it's quite a tricky and expensive thing to do, there's a write-up or two on here about it. The brakes don't look any bigger than standard, maybe pads or brake lines or something?
