Hi, Z4C on it's way

Hi Everyone.

Just wanted to check in and say thanks, as this site has been really useful over the last month or so.

After deliberating since Christmas, i've finally put a deposit down on on an ex-dem Z4c which i'll pick up mid July when back from being abroad.

Welcome BTW, what's the full lowdown on your car?
 
It's a 57 plate manual Z4c, Montego Blue with the individual grey / cream interior, 7k miles. At first i was going to go for a black one, with the red/black interior, but the more i saw the blue, the more i liked it...

Options wise, it hasn't got sat nav (which i'm not massively bothered about as ive got a Garmin) but it has got cruise, comfort pack, xenons, Hifi - which were all "must haves" for me and it's also got the sun protection glass, heated seats, folding mirrors and bluetooth which are all nice to have...

The car currently has the composite star alloys but i've asked the dealer to change them for the M style, as i prefer the look. can't wait to pick it up!

the car is still on the BMW AUC site and Autotrader, even though i've paid the deposit - is this normal? The dealer siad it will stay up there until invoiced...

Well, when I bought mine AUC it came off the website the next working day, but I suppose in the current climate they'll want to advertise it for as long as possible. Someone might call about, but they'll tell them it's provisionally sold but keep their phone number in case it falls through.

Don't worry though, they won't sell it to anyone else unless you pull out.

Nice spec BTW, xenons and hi-fi are the two things I miss most about my Z4.
 
my AUC was left up for about 3-4 days... in fact it moved from the coming soon section into the available section - even though id bought it :o

doubt they'd sell it on though as they'd be in breach of contract...
