Hi! New Z4 owner

Hi, im Steve and im based near Birmingham. Have recently made the switch from a Z3 2.8 to a Z4, its a 3.0si Sport in Stratus Grey.

Nice Zed. So where abouts are you? Birmingham covers a big piece of turf. I'm up Lichfield side.
It will be interesting to see what you feel about the 4 Vs 3
 
Im to the east of Birmingham, Coleshill in North Warwickshire.

I think the Z4 and Z3 are two completely diffrerent machines on the road. The Z4 is much more sporty and focussed, it has a true sports car feel and i love it! :D The Z3 gave a more subtle and relaxed drive, more of a cruiser. I owned one for 4 years enjoyed every minute of it.
Must admit it took me a while to really take to the styling of the Z4, mainly the inside which put me off. But it has grown on me, and the piano black trim looks great. But the driving experience dominates everything, and i just love driving it! :D

Small world. I drove through Coleshill this afternoon.
 
Yes in the short time ive had the Z4 it gives a more sporty drive with the sharper handling, and firmer ride, The Z3 was best just cruising rather than being pushed imo.

Was that you in the grey 3.0 with a hardtop on the A446? I think you passed me, i was just tootling along at the time having 40 winks :lol:

Im in Worcestershire, but moving to Leamington - pretty close too ! Very attractive car :thumbsup: will keep an eye out !

Thanks, yes the composite 108s are my favourite alloy on the Z4, easy to keep clean too. My Z3 had bolted cross spokes on them and were a pain to maintain.
 
They are my favourite too. I was very happy when i found the Z4 with the colour, interior and alloys that i wanted! :D

I agree they are very easy to keep clean :thumbsup:

...before they start to corrode, which they will. :(
 
Hi Steve ... welcome to the forum ... I'm in Solihull, so would be up for a 'local' meet sometime ... may be when the weather improves!! Have fun :driving:
