New to the forums so greets to everyone

6 months of ownership and I have a small (I hope) problem with my Z4 3.0 roadster 04 reg, the washer reservoir has a leak on it somewhere and Im looking for some assistance in its removal, I've looked for a guide but have had no luck so if one of you kind souls would be nice enough to point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance. :sos:

Iceman_Jay, welcome to the forum... :driving:
Sorry, I can't help you with the washer reservoir issue right now but if someone does not come along that can I will look into it later... :paper:

Welcome.

Are you sure it's the reservoir itself?
I've had a hose to the headlight washer jet come off before (due to shoddy workmanship when the bumper was removed :poke: ) which just needed the pipe reclipping into place. There was an obvious trail of water dribbling from the bumper 5 minutes after I'd filled the washer bottle :headbang:

Thanks for the welcomes guys and gals, Im not entirely sure where the problem is other than its losing all its water after I've filled it up.

The reason I think its either a split reservoir or hose is because I filled the tank and then we had that cold spell with the snow - uk members will know, went for a drive in it the weekend after and there was no water so I thought thats odd, checked the reservoir and it was bone dry, filled it up again went for a drive parked it up then the weekend after its empty again, It dosent make sense as its always garaged anyway so I suppose it could just be that a hose has come loose while I've been thrashing it

Ive had a quick look at the tank removal and it looks like just the one bolt headed screw holds it in place, but im not sure so I thought it best to ask some more knowledgeable ppl first :D

Its not a major problem but the windscreen has gone a bit manky from the salted roads lool

Shipkiller did you manage to find the procedures? I got my 3 adjustable spanners yesterday lool  so I'll be having a look what I can do on sunday, working saturday :x so no :driving:

Help me somebody  :ilz4f:
