Hi-I’m new here

Well first off welcome to the forum.

I don't have too much experience of 18" runflats, but I'd avoid Bridgestone Potenzas!

I've had 17" Potenzas, Pirellis, Continentals and winter Hankooks and they have all ridden better, albeit on other BMW models.

Most people recommend fitting non-runflats.

Welcome to the forum! I ditched RFs for Continetal Sportcontacts, really happy with them.

Thanks for the replies.
If not Run Flats, then what?

If not run-flats any brand you fancy!

But you might want to consider having a compressor and tyre sealant or "rats-tails" as a back-up plan.
Or a space-saver from an E46, but you'd need a 17" one from a 330i/330d to fit over your front brakes assuming they are the OE size, or a full-size spare wheel, plus a jack and wheel-brace.
Or AA/RAC cover as a last resort - or any combination of those!
