I have been lurking for a while and now eventually decided to participate. I have purchased a 2004 2.2 and I love it. Went to look at a 2005 x3 but after taking the x3 for a test drive I saw the z4 and fell in love with it :D After a quick test drive I bought it and talked my wife into having the x3 as the family car. (Midlife crises). Will post some photos when I get time to stop diving it and take some.

Welcome to my world - our family car is a 2005 X3 and I have the Z4 coupe as my daily driver :D

TAZ 1990, Welcome to the forum! Looking forward to the pics. We understand it might take a while, but as tradition around here dictates I must invoke the following:

:worthless:

P.S. I'm on my third mid-life crisis and I haven't even reached middle age yet! Well, as Jimmy Buffett wrote, "If we weren't all crazy, we would go insane". Very nice family car collection BTW!!!

P.S.S. Another Taz fan I see...

Well I would have posted photos by now, but due to the high winds last week I was hit by a blue wheely bin not once but twice over night. This means I have now two dints one on each side.
It goes in next week for repair hopfully I will have it back next weekend. I have managed to have the top down three times this week and I love it Love it LOVE IT. I will hopefully post some photos next weekend.

Your amongst friends here…..Welcome from this side of the rainbow. I love my 2004 Z4 as well. :) Now the Mercedes is our family car. You will love your Zed, but if you are like me, it is hard to keep yourself under control and not just blast down the road all day. :o  :driving:

Well eventually remembered to take a camera with me today. Top down, good run, sun shining, great afternoon. :driving: So as promised here are a couple of shots taken today. Well not that long ago just got back. Let me know what you think.
It’s a 2004 2.2 pretty much stock put some carbon roundels on and clear side repeaters that’s about at the moment. :D

First one was on my drive
It was Deleval Hall just down the road from where I live. The second was Whitley bay again just down the road ,the coast road around here is quite good for a couple of hours blast.

Looks great, if I drive up the A1 to Scotland I always stop at Seaton Burn services, always wondered what was around the area.

Mike I live about 2 miles from the service station and deleval Hall is only about 2 miles further east. Let me know next time you are coming up to this area.

Yep I will cheers

I've actually started using the A68 more, coming off at Darlo and then going up that way instead, doesn't seem any slower that way plus there are some good stretches on the A68, providing the camera vans aren't out. Vrooooooom.
